About the role

This is a hands-on internship for someone early in their career who wants to learn startup sales, customer development, and B2B software.

You will work with the founders on prospect research, outreach, follow-up, CRM updates, and learning how accounting firms evaluate new software.

You do not need prior sales experience, but you should be comfortable reaching out to people, staying organized, and learning from feedback.

The role involves direct outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn, but the goal is to learn how early go-to-market works, not just run a script.

What you will do

  • Research accounting firms and potential customers.
  • Help build prospect lists.
  • Support outbound campaigns across phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Help qualify interest and book meetings.
  • Keep CRM notes and contact information up to date.
  • Track common customer questions and feedback.
  • Help prepare notes before and after sales calls.

Bonus points

  • You have done sales, recruiting, fundraising, customer service, campus ambassador work, events, or similar people-facing work.
  • You have worked around accounting, finance, SMBs, or professional services.
  • You have used AI tools for research or writing.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $20-$35/hour.
